Technology
Magped is all about precision engineering. Our pedals are built to last with three high-quality, sealed bearings for smooth, effortless pedalling. Our replaceable pins ensure long-lasting grip. The powerful neodymium magnet is finely tuned with our integrated polymer damper for optimal performance and safety.
Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.

Very interesting product and alternative solution to clipping pedals! I have tried the product only for indoor cycling so far so I have just a couple of preliminary remarks:
1) The product scratches easily
2) The magnetic force should be adapted to your body weight. With my weight (about 61kg) the 200N magnets are too strong and not easy to remove. Therefore, I had to order a separate set of 100N magnets. Would be good to have the option of setting the most adequate magnet force at the time of purchase.
3) With the 200N magnets on I have tried interval sprints up to a power of 700W flawlessly – no issue at all.
I will post more remarks once I test the product on the road.
