The magped SPORT2 is our classic magnetic pedal in a greatly revised, improved version.
This pedal is perfect for gravel roads through to easier trails. The SPORT2 can be mounted on everyday bikes, MTBs and eBikes.
The SPORT2 offers the optimum compromise between flat and clip-in pedals and has a stable, lightweight CNC-milled aluminum body with CrMo spindle and an improved bearing system.

Technology
Magped is all about precision engineering. Our pedals are built to last with three high-quality, sealed bearings for smooth, effortless pedalling. Our replaceable pins ensure long-lasting grip. The powerful neodymium magnet is finely tuned with our integrated polymer damper for optimal performance and safety.
Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.

Love these pedals. Simple to set up and use. The magnetic grip when on the bike is just perfect for me. I have 200N which is both strong enough to hold my shoes and easy enough to get loose. One sided is also fine for me. Beautifully made as well. Delivery was so quick after ordering in a nicely designed package. I am on road mostly but hope to migrate to gravel later this year so will switch pedals to a new bike if I do.

The Sport2 pedals are fine, but they would be better with a magnet on both sides in this model. It would also be better if the nails were adjustable as in the Enduro model but with an Allen head, it is more standard, who has a female Torx tool?
The Sport2 model with double magnet and easily adjustable nails, would be a good improvement.

I have always been hesitant to buy SPD pedals as I was worried that I will not be able to disengage as quick as I would have liked, especially in traffic. Then a friend suggested I try the Magped pedals. When I tried them for the first time a new world opened in front of me. My cycling experience is now sooooo much better and you can disengage very easily, but when you ride your foot is firmly in place. I definitely recommend them to anyone wishes to upgrade her/his cycling performance. By the way, customer care at Magped is first class!
